Ana’s practice focuses on the defense of general liability and casualty claims, including New York Labor Law, construction defect, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and liability issues confronting commercial fleet operations. Ana is experienced in managing discovery, conducting depositions, and drafting motions. She routinely works with clients and their insurers throughout the litigation management process, from planning case activities and assessing critical case details to conducting research and investigations to enhance the defense and providing stakeholders with timely reporting and analysis.

Ana’s advocacy experience also extends beyond casualty claims to defamation cases and the adjudication of remedies arising under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. In her Education Law practice, she represented clients in administrative hearings, prepared legal briefs and witness submissions, and negotiated settlement agreements. That work strengthened the written and oral advocacy skills she brings to our clients’ defense.

Earlier in her career, Ana served as a legal specialist with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development in Tbilisi, Georgia. Her responsibilities included serving as a hearing officer in administrative proceedings, evaluating evidence, preparing proposed decisions, and representing the Ministry in court. Her experience assessing disputes from the perspective of both an advocate and a hearing officer informs her approach to the presentation of case issues.

Ana earned her Master of Laws at Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she received the CALI Award for the highest grade in Commercial Law: Secured Transactions. She is a native Georgian speaker and is proficient in English and Russian. She dedicates her accomplishments and practice of law to the memory of her mother.
