William brings more than a decade of litigation experience to the defense of personal injury, premises liability, New York Labor Law, and toxic tort claims. His background includes substantial work in toxic exposure litigation and the defense of motor vehicle accident cases. Will has extensive experience addressing the myriad liability and damages issues that determine the existence and extent of a defendant’s exposure when litigating liability claims.
William works closely with insureds and claims professionals throughout discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations. He conducts depositions, prepares witnesses, evaluates expert evidence, and argues dispositive motions. His experience includes negotiating resolutions through mediation and court settlement conferences, as well as planning and implementing defenses and sharpening case issues through motion practice.

William earned both his undergraduate and law degrees at Georgetown, where he served as Mentoring and Notes Editor of the university’s legal ethics journal. His published writing has addressed legal ethics and employment discrimination litigation. Outside the office, he enjoys science fiction, British comedy, and playing the piano.
